Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, dB began his musical journey as a pianist. At the age of 14, he developed an ear for music influenced by his father’s daily listening to jazz and gospel music. After honing his piano skills through performances with churches and local artists in St. Louis, dB transitioned to production. In 2015, he enrolled in at the Extreme Institute, founded by Nelly, gaining a degree in Recording, Mixing, and Engineering. dB specializes in R&B and Hip Hop but he remains eager to expand his musical horizons.
